Mark your calendars for 912 Community Day & Ribbon Cutting on Saturday, September 12, from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. as we celebrate the grand opening of both VyStar Pavilion and Ghost Pirates Ice Cove!
We’re throwing open the doors and inviting the entire 912 community to come experience these brand-new venues for FREE! The day kicks off at 11 a.m. with ribbon cuttings at both facilities, officially marking this exciting new chapter for Port Wentworth, Savannah and the entire Coastal Georgia community.
Stick around for an action-packed afternoon featuring live music, family-friendly activities, games, inflatables and bounce houses, crafts, local vendors, food trucks, a mechanical bull, food and Frozen Anchor Sports Bar, Georgia Bulldogs football and so much more! PLUS, public skating (First come first served), Jr Ghost Pirates & Sirens Exhibitions, Figure Skating Exhibitions, Learn to Play and more at the Ice Cove!
Whether you’re ready to lace up the skates, catch some live music, cheer on the Dawgs or simply explore your new neighborhood venues, there’s something for everyone! It’s a celebration of the 912, and we can’t wait to welcome the community home to Anchor Park!
Rink 1:
Free Public Skating 11:30 am-3 pm (broken up into 60 minute sessions)
First come first serve Public Skating.

Rink 2:
11:15 am - 12:15 pm: Jr Ghost Pirates & Sirens Exhibition
12:30 pm - 1 pm: High Level Figure Skating Exhibition & LTS On Ice Info Session
1:15 pm - 2:15 pm: Learn to Play / Youth Hockey Clinic Demo and On Ice Info Session
